Kory Wood
Director

Kory Wood is an Indigenous clean energy leader from Saulteau First Nations in British Columbia’s Treaty 8 Territory.

He is the former President of Kikinaw Energy Services Ltd., an award-winning Indigenous-owned wind energy operations company. A Class-A Master Electrician with an MBA, Kory combines technical expertise with strategic leadership to advance Indigenous participation in Canada’s clean energy transition.

Kory previously served on the Board of Directors for Indigenous Clean Energy, contributing to national initiatives that promote Indigenous-led climate action. In 2024, he was nominated by Premier David Eby and awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal by the Province of British Columbia, recognizing his leadership and contributions to Indigenous economic development and clean energy advancement.

A strong advocate for Indigenous employment, capacity building, and community-led solutions in the energy transition, Kory remains committed to advancing economic reconciliation. He lives in Kelowna, BC, with his wife and three young children, where he enjoys hockey, skiing, golfing, and spending time outdoors with his family.
